SYDNEY JAMBOREE TESTING AT FULL THROTTLE FRIDAY

There was plenty of on-track action last night at Sydney Dragway at the Full Throttle Friday meet. With the Sydney Jamboree on this Sunday, it was the last opportunity for teams to get some track time for testing before the big event and as a result, we were blessed with some pretty awesome passes.

Pac performance had several of thier customers in attendance including Damian McKern in his 20B RX2 GRUMP2. In typical McKern fashion, me were treated to plenty of 2-step flames and wheels-up launches which is just a taste of what's to come. Fingers crossed Damian and his crew can get the car to hook up on the weekend so we can see some seven-second passes from this tough-as-nails RX2
Sam 'The Godfather' Sadek was also out in force with his RX3 coupe. Always one to put on a show, Sam god the crowd cheering with his big smoky burnouts and after a few skatey passes, nailed a new PB of 7.063@179mph. Oh so close to that elusive six-second pass. Fingers crossed we see Sam and his team go even faster on Sunday.

Ex Pro Turbo racer, Po Tung brought out his new Toyota Supra that looks to be one serious machine. Racing on a 28x9in slick, Po managed to lay down a 8.3, followed by a blistering 8.14@174mph. We're quite confident that this crazy Supra will dip into the sevens come Sunday.

This meeting also saw the long-awaited return of the ROTORG33K RX3. Brothers Jamie and Daniel have been working very hard of late to get the car back onto the track and with some new-found power, the car was leaving the line ferosiously. Unfortunitely though, the car suffered some dramas mid meet and was forced to call it a night prematurly. Hopefully we will see it back in action Sunday.

There was plenty more action where that came from, so be sure to check out a selection of snaps from the night here in the gallery section.
See you at the track tomorrow for Sydney Jamboree.
